Edothemes Overview

WordPress has become extremely popular at present. It can be quite lucrative as well. Edothemes is a WordPress theme provider that jumps into this bandwagon in May 2010. Dedicated to aiding bloggers create their web pages, this provider offers WordPress themes in various layouts. However, their selection is small with only 3 different themes available.

Theme Functionality

The WordPress themes from Edothemes have a range of standard features. They come with different color schemes, a logo upload feature and customization options which allow you to place different menus and effects on different pages. Other notable features include a home slider, banner administration feature, contact form and custom admin system. Video support is also available with some themes. Google analytics integration feature is also available. All themes are search engine optimized.

The functionality of the themes from Edothemes is good. Still, they are suitable for blogs only, which poses some limitations. Generally, the themes from other providers, such as Elegantthemes and Studiopress, offer greater functionality, flexibility and diversity.

Theme Graphics

The headers of the themes from Edothemes are quite standard. This is applicable to the colors as well. Given that the graphic design uses only 4 or 5 basic colors, the contrast between front and background is not particularly impressive. Still, the themes are for blogs, so their attractiveness is supposed to rely on the adding of pictures.

The theme graphics of the Edothemes designs can be described as standard. They lack the uniqueness and impressiveness of designs from Elegantthemes and Templatelite.

Theme Pricing– base on July 2010 data

You can buy a single Edothemes theme for $24. This is much cheaper than the price range of $50-$80 for most providers. Now you can take advantage of a bonus offer and pay $24 for 2 themes. In this case, the price per theme is only $12. This is quite cheap, but you have to take into account the functionality and graphics you will get for this sum.
